I am so blessed…but sometimes it is too easy to lose sight of what we should be thankful for. This is a copy of what I post on Facebook this year…to help focus in on being thankful for the things I have…instead of focusing on the things I do not.

November 1 – Counting down the days of thankfulness. I’m going to start shallow and then move towards deeper things. Today I’m thankful that those 2 weeks of eating whatever I wanted at my dad’s did not result in weight gain that I cannot overcome. 🙂

November 2 – Today I am thankful for glasses and contact lenses. Without them I would have surely eliminated myself from the population by now…I’m practically blind on my own!

Oh yeah, I’m also thankful for the song Gangam Style. That’s right, I said it!

November 3 – Today I am grateful for nice, warm running water.

November 4 – Today I’m very thankful for my beautiful, sweet, kind, funny, wonderful, EPIC sister Meredith. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY SEEEEEESTER! I lava you! ♥ ♥

November 5 – Today I am thankful that this election is almost over. It’s taken every ounce of my will not to hide most of my friends’ news feeds. 🙂

November 6 – (oops…I stayed off Facebook because of election stuff I guess…)

November 7 – Today I’m thankful for the car that I own!

November 8 – Today I am thankful that after YEARS of struggling with it, my credit report now looks like it belongs to a responsible adult. Go me!

November 9 – Today I am thankful to be an American. I may disagree with a lot of people for what they say…but I SO STRONGLY believe in that right to say it!!! As a country, we are so blessed and we shouldn’t forget that.

November 10 – Today I am thankful for my kitties. Despite waking me up to feed them breakfast on weekends, landmines of puke, jumping up on delicate art projects and bouts of runny poo…they make my life so much better and happier. Here’s to my fluffybums of cuteness!

November 11 – Today I am thankful for my new church and church-family. They’ve made me feel so welcome and for the first time, I find myself jazzed DAYS in advance of Sunday. A huge hole in my life has been filled. (And Gavin doesn’t mind it either, so I’m super thankful for that!)

November 12 – Because I love food so much, I’m thankful for the following: cheese, bread, garlic, coffee, Dr. Pepper, chocolate, ice cream, sweet potatoes, and butter. OMG, now I am hungry!

November 13 – Today, I’m thankful for my HANDSOME, sweet and kind husband. I went downstairs this morning to find that he’d done a load of dishes. Seriously, that is SO HOT! ♥

November 14 – Today I am very thankful that I can afford to buy groceries. I think it’s crazy that prices are as high as they are and I don’t know how people working minimum wage jobs actually feed themselves…let alone an entire family.

November 15 – Today I’m thankful that my new “look” seems to be working. I am getting a lot of auditions (2 more this week), which helps to ease the decision I made to work from home and pursue what I love. Now…let’s see if I can actually BOOK one of these!

November 16 – Today I am thankful for finding Purrfect Solutions Feline Rescueover three years ago. Volunteering has always been dear to me and it’s nice to have a place I can go and be useful. The best part is though…that I get to snuggle more cats than I could EVER have in my entire lifetime. ♥

November 17 – Today I am thankful for being able to keep in touch with my friends and family on a daily basis through Facebook. I’m such a hermit…without it I would be super lonely and I’m pretty sure I would feel like a complete loser. 😉

November 18 – Today I am really thankful for my sheltered life. I think we often take for granted how easy our lives really are. Just being born in a different country could have made life as a woman hell on earth.

November 19 – Today I am thankful that my husband puts up with: 1) all my interests and hobbies, 2) my cat collection, 3) my colorful personality, 4) my drastic changes in mood, opinion, hair style and color and 5) my less-than-perfect house cleaning abilities.

November 20 – Off to the dentist…and today I’m thankful I can afford to visit the dentist regularly. In my early 20’s…not the case.

November 21 – Today I am thankful for the love of Jesus. As a child, I KNEW Jesus loved me (because the bible told me so). But but not until I became an adult did I begin to understand JUST HOW MUCH. ♥

November 22 – Happy Thanksgiving!
